Thank Heavens I didn't give this away for a Christmas gift! I started using them myself and within a week, I had to tighten the screws holding the handles onto the pan. I have to do so every week. AND, it requires a star-driver.

I see a lot of negative reviews and just wanted to say that I had one of these units professionally installed about 2 months ago and am 100% happy with the unit. The installers did have to come back 3 times after the initial installation to make adjustments because my forced hot water was not getting hot enough to heat the house properly...I quickly realized how complicated this unit is after seeing how much additional time was needed after the initial installation to get the system working right and believe that a lot of the problems some of the other reviewers might have been seeing were most likely due to installation/settings problems.

I was very surprised that this stuff actually works. It did require just a little more time than recommended but otherwise, no problems whatso ever. A word of caution though, DON'T GET IT ON YOUR BALLS!
