I applied this 1 hour before and put plastic wrap over it before the tattoo, This stuff is amazing, Did not take the pain away. Made a rib tattoo bearable. Works very well, The only downfall is it does take off the stencil so use after first application is hard to do unless the linework is completed.
I just took the Hesi exam and did very well thanks to being prepared after using this study guide! I needed to do well so that I can be competitive among other nursing candidates and now I know I have the chance to stand out! This study guide does a good job covering the subject matter well to prepare for the exam. There are also great tests at the end that cover every subject. It helps you know what you need to work on, as well as prepare you for the actual exam questions and format. There was very little I didn't feel prepared for on the exam!
I had read about the smell of this cutting mat, but some of the reviews said their mat didn't have a smell. So, I took a chance. I'm sorry to say that the smell was much too strong, even after airing it out, and I returned the two mats. Then I went to Walmart and checked out their mats which are identical to these, brand and all. They, too, had a strong smell. However, the smaller Fiskars mat (18" X 24") at Walmart didn't have the smell. It is also a self-healing mat, but it's a different color. I don't know if the color has anything to do with it, but I bought the smaller mat and am using it. Everything is fine so far. I don't think I have ever advised against a product from Amazon, but I would advise folks not to buy these Fiskars 36" X 24" mats if they don't like strong chemical smells!
This stuff is great, but I don't use it as directed. I mix a scoop of this protein powder with two tablespoons of oatmeal and about 8 ounces of skim milk, then i blend it with a couple cups of frozen fruit (e.g., blueberries and/or strawberries) and sometimes half a banana. BTW: The Cuisinart CPB-300 SmartPower blender rocks for taking this on the road. It takes me 5 minutes to prepare it and clean up.
With big data, comes formulas to parse through the data trying to make sense of it. Those algorithms can help make sense of the data and help filter through the noise to find trends. But those algorithms can also be easily misused and have harmful, if unintended consequences. Cathy O’Neil explores these problems in Weapons of Math Destruction.
Admittedly I tend to gravitate toward fiction and only like nonfiction when it's written like a novel - this book did not disappoint! Once I started reading it I literally couldn't put it down! From the moment Shackleton's ship is locked in ice, to them living on an ice floe, to them trekking across land and sea and they're eventual and dramatic attempt to sail away in search of a rescue party.
I don't usually review products, but I had been eagerly awaiting the Fitbit Flex for months. When I started to see reviews--some of them negative--for it, I was kind of bummed. However, I've had mine since Mother's Day (so exactly three days now), and I really love it. It does exactly what I hoped it would do, so I figured I'd add my two cents here.
