This thing is so inaccurate, it says my temperature is 95 degrees. I would not rely on this for anything, let alone bring it near one of my children!
this thing sucks. i usually use toppik...price range is comparable... decided to switch to see if i could get better results. messy as all heck. most of it ended up in the sink. the fibers are clingy but not in a good way as it doesn't disperse very evenly so looks really, really unnatural. i also did not enjoy the clean up. yuck. it also comes w/one of those absorbent packets inside to keep it dry and for good reason. the tiniest dampness to your skin makes this thing so much worse. it was also annoying to shake it and have that thing rattle around inside and blocking up the holes so that one shake could get you very little and then the next a whole bunch, which again made for uneven coverage. one star for the bottle which is nice and you can see how much you have left inside. but overall was a waste of money.
This is not a significant update from 2010, with the major changes being the file format (not backward compatible) and it seems to take longer to calculate routes. Better data, but the same experience. Watch it on low powered portable hardware.

I used my Crock-Pot slow cooker for the first time yesterday--put soup in to cook for the day. Came home four hours later and the handle of the lid was laying in the soup and the lid was shattered. It's supposed to be shatter proof glass however there was glass all over my kitchen. I called the manufacturer today and they would not refund my money--said they would only send a replacement (I will NEVER have another Crock-Pot slow cooker in my house). I asked to reimbursed for the $14 worth of ingredients and she said they would not reimburse me. Dangerous/poor quality slow cooker and no customer service.
I really enjoyed the way the story opens. There are events unfolding in the present and flashbacks that provide some backstory. I am not a science buff, and though the technologies are very cool, I am drawn more to the relationships developing among the characters: power struggles and budding romance, crisis management and heroic rescues, suspicion and trust, aggression and affection, self-doubt and soul searching. Six explorers of sorts on a mission to investigate a mysterious spacecraft have to prepare themselves to face any number of adversities at their destination, but also overcome the trials of spending 10 months in a small transport with micro gravity and even less privacy. Tensions are high when they dock, and things quickly go downhill from there. Will they be able to work together to make contact, complete their mission, and return home, or will they get in each other's way? When they find another force at play, who will determine if it is friend or foe? Will emotions interfere with duties? Can a budding romance survive a shift in power? Will all my questions be answered, or will I have to wait for the sequel?
