I have enjoyed Rick's guides for years and this does not disappoint. Chock full of information and tips to make your trip the best possible. This guide is focused on Florence and surrounding area. If you are only staying for a few days, the standard Italy guide will cover most of what you need. This guide goes into more detail and covers more secondary locations.

I am writing this review after six-months of use. The reason for the missing star is due to the sheath having a knife-locking system made from a softer, metal that corrodes in saltwater. I love the knife and feel the knife alone is worth the price. It has everything I could want in a kayak-knife: Square semi-sharp tip, serrated edge, and most important, a recessed line-cutter on the back of the blade that will accept larger diameter cordages. The blade is nicely designed and has adequate heft that feels good in the hand, for a less-expensive, yet not cheaply made knife. While I have never drawn the knife for the use it was intended for, I have needed it for cutting cord and light prying. Now on to the sheath...finger-clasps that release the knife are made of some mild-metal and corrode badly in saltwater, even though I rinse everything I use in fresh water within an hour of getting home. I'm guessing I will need to discontinue using the sheath after a year because the corrosion will be advance enough to effect the integrity of the sheath. Had the option been available, I would have paid more for this knife with stainless steel hardware.

Our 4-year-old has autism and is beyond picky with his eating. We have taken him to a dietician who recommended Pediasure to us. He will drink the vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry flavors which is almost a miracle since there are so few things he will eat or drink. It is such a relief to know that he is getting his vitamins and some protein while we are working on getting him to eat more normally.

I was using a free Anti virus and it was working great but kept hearing about bad viruses heading our way so decided to try out the new kid on the block so to speak.. It made my computer run slow and I now have some weird virus that makes it so my computer is locked up tight and can't even get to my desktop without seeing this message that I am locked out and unless I pay 300.00 to these creeps It will stay locked up forever. Ahhhhhh I am now using the oldest computer known to man just to be able to check my email and basic stuff. BAD BAD BAD

This water filter works great in my frigidaire. It was quick and easy to install. After installation, I ran the water thru for a couple of minutes and then did a taste test and all is well. It seems my water pressure is is higher too. I received this water filter for free or at a discount in exchange for my honest review.

The research and discovery described in this book includes scientific proof as well as anecdotal evidence that "Earthing" works. "Earthing" simply describes the natural process of being in contact with the ground, either in direct contact with the earth while walking barefoot, or by means of a simple wire connection to something which is in direct contact with the earth. The authors confirm that the harmful free radicals in the body have a positive + charge, which suggests that the negative electrons provided by contact with the earth are able to electrically "neutralize" these harmful positive charges. The book includes infrared images showing inflammed tissue prior to grounding (orange-yellowish-red) colors, and about 40 minutes after grounding (blue color). Microscopic examination of blood samples show that grounding results in less tendency of blood cells to clump together, with the result that there is less liklihood of stroke or blood clots. Beneficial effects regarding sleep are noted in the book, along with test evidence that Cortisol levels become normalized after grounding. You will be surprised and delighted by this book!
