  • R. Norris - My hair was so dry and brittle....

Okay, so my hair looked like an electrocuted tumble weed. It was dry, brittle and breaking off horribly. This is because I have a texturizer that is only supposed to loosen the natural curl, however I wasn't prepared for the melee that came with the loosened curl! My hair was never this damaged...wow it was BAD!!! So I did a little research and read up on Aphogee, ordered it from Amazon, but did not use it right away! Last night while staring at what looked liked the aftermath of a brush fire, I decided to put this to use. I followed the directions on the bottle, sat under the dryer and rinsed out. I have to tell you, it IMMEDIATELY STOPPED THE BREAKAGE!!! Right before the treatment I could not run my hands through my hair with out strands breaking off, nor could I comb it without breakage. I am AMAZED at the results because I really did not think anything would stop the breakage or the dryness, other than cutting it all off!!! At this moment I am about to browse Amazon for the rest of Aphogee's hair care products. We are talking MAJOR RESULTS here :o)

  • Isaac - A LED-lit 1440p IPS 25" monitor that's solid and less expensive than most

Forewarning that I don't have that much experience or expertise with monitors besides the crammed research I did over the last week. But I had an Asus MX279H for a few days, which I hear is an amazing monitor with great picture quality from a reliable company, so at least I have a relative point of comparison.

  • Susan - Love this Eye Cream

Skederm Ultimate Eye Cream ~ I don't know that I've ever even said this before but I noticed a difference the very first time I used this eye cream! The packaging is very pretty. It's a beautiful blue cannister with a great little airless pump which dispenses the perfect amount. It's 0.5 ounces but using it only on the eye area should last quite some time. You only need a very little amount of this cream. It has a very faint scent to it. It's so faint I can hardly smell it at all. The cream goes on beautifully. I have lived in Florida most of my life so unfortunately I'm starting to see signs of fine lines above my eyes which I can't believe and they just make me feel older! The first thing people notice are your eyes, right? They looked terrible and I wanted to take care of this quickly, if possible. So when I applied the cream, they immediately faded. Of course I know they're not gone but they're not as noticeable. My eyes also get a little puffy underneath but the cream has helped out with that problem as well. I do have to say that it didn't soak in to my skin as quickly as I had hoped for but after seeing the results I can deal with that. It's not sticky at all! I thought it was at first and realized it was from one one of my vitamin C serums. This morning I scared myself looking in the mirror! My eyes looked I had been rough! So puffy underneath! I did not believe anything would help this mess out. Honestly! I used the cream and once again my eyes bounced back to normal. I mean, they looked so bad I didn't want to leave the house. This is by far my Favorite eye cream ever! I just can't say enough about it! I've been using it twice a day and will continue to use this to see if there are any permanent results. Because of the retinol (vitamin A) I have hopes that there will be! I received this at a reduced cost for my honest and unbiassed review of this product. I really like it and will definitely purchase it again once it's gone as long as I continue getting good results from it. I do hope my review has helped you in some way.

  • Scott R - Great EDC backup blade

Great EDC backup blade. Mine needed sharpening out of the box, knives should be razor sharp, especially for this application. I understand that between corporate lawyers, and cost control Gerber probably erred on the side of safety. Great design, the sheath is well made and holds the knife secure, even if you desire to carry it tip up. If it were shaving sharp out of the box, I would have given it 5 stars

  • Sarah P - Awful! Left my hair coated in a sticky, oily, greasy flat mess. Will never ever use again!

This product is absolutely awful. I am a 19 year old female dealing with extensive hair loss. I had tried shampoos & conditioners, creams, supplements, vitamins, and medications all designed for hair loss and none of them worked. So I looked to using OTC hair growth methods. I bought this hoping that it would help even a little, but it ended up being the most harmful of all the products I have tried so far. I used it for the first time tonight with the intent of putting it on my scalp, letting it sit for 30 minutes and then rinsing it out. I got out of the shower and my roots and scalp were incredibly greasy and sticky. I was in no condition to go anywhere with my hair the way it was. It was flat and oily, which made my hair look even thinner; my hair loss stood out more since my hair lost whatever volume at the top that it had. So I went back and washed just my hair a second time, still it was greasy and sticky. At this point I knew that it wasn't going to come out easily. I ended up gathering as many different shampoos as I could find (I never seem to fully empty my bottles before I buy new shampoos). I ended up with about 4 or 5 different shampoos, and just went ahead and took another shower, and I used all 4 or 5 of the shampoos one at a time. I got out and my hair was STILL COATED IN THE PRODUCT! By this time I was getting incredibly frustrated so I googled "how to get grease out of your hair." Well after some extensive research I stumbled upon a fix for getting vaseline/petroleum jelly out of your hair (you'd be surprised how often that apparently happens haha). I figured it would be the same approach for getting something so sticky and oily out of your hair. People suggested things like baby powder, baby oil, vinegar, and dish soap. Dish soap was the only one of those that I had lying around the house, so I went and took a THIRD shower to wash my hair for the 8th time!! This time I used a quarter-sized dollop of dish soap on my scalp and massaged it in, let it sit for about 5 minutes then rinsed and conditioned my hair. Most of the product had come out by then, but my scalp has been left dry, itchy and tender from the dish soap chemicals. After my second shower I got frustrated and threw the whole product away after just one use. I would not recommend this product to any women, or any men who don't want their hair a mess! If you're a person who gels your hair or slicks it back, than this product is perfect for you! Because that's exactly what it is going to do to your hair. Otherwise I would steer clear of it!
